Over the last 100 years, North America’s landscapes have become increasingly fragmented by roads. This talk will address 2 main questions concerning the effects of roads on wildlife: First, in what ways do roads and traffic affect wildlife populations, and second, what kind of species are most vulnerable to the negative impacts of roads and traffic
Discovery Cafe is a series of public lectures given by experts in their fields to the community of Blackburn Hamlet. The series runs on the last Friday of each month, (Sept-Nov, Jan-May), 7:30-9pm (30 minute talk followed by Q & A). Refreshments provided. Free will offering.
